KINGSHIP TURNS A THUNDERBOLT ATTACK.

Recall, After the Death of the former king of Ikirun (Akinrun of Ikirun land Osun State) Oba Rauf Olawale Adedeji, choosing another king to rule over, has been a very hot dilemma for who to mount the royal stool, since February 8, 2021.

Some month ago, heavy crises arose when  Prince Yunusa Olalekan Akadir of "OBA-ARA" Ruling House was chosen as the next King under the Osun State Governor's Authority (Gov. Gboyega Oyetola).

His emergence followed the vote of the Six kingmakers except one among the Seven king makers.

The people of Ikirun land drastically antagonize the motion and go against any act for him to be the king. Meanwhile, people of Ikirun land insist that the next ruling house as the culture and Tradition of Ikirun is "GBOLERU'S FAMILY". With this, the Palace was locked down for no one to get in there.

However, that seems to be the first Saga, another scene of tragedy arose on Nov 23 when the vested King was on his way to the palace with some Police and some "Amotekun Corps". From an eye witness it was reported that Prince Lukman Olatunji and one other, fell victim of the killings during the Red-eye scuffle while hoodlums burns Palace.  

In a Media interview with King Yunusa Olalekan Akadir today 25th Nov, he explained how he felt concerned on the scuffle at Ikirun with the level of damages "it's a pity, this has never happened in the history of Ikirun" he stated.

"Due to the protest of the people saying you are not qualified and it was Politicized. Please shed more light to this" he was asked.

"Firstly, I'm qualified by Birth (Forth Oyewole), I'm a business man also, with the company named "Total Finishing works limited" dealing with Buildings and interiors, my experience and exposure make me qualify for it. Moreso, it's not politicized because every due steps took place by consulting the Kingmakers of Ikirun and some elites, Rt D.I.G Gazali lawal, Musa Deck, Dr Ismail olasunkanmi Adeyemi, Chief Baba Eesa, Chief Odofin. Once again it's not Politicized, it's by the court order. Presently, I'm in the unburnt ancient Traditional Palace of Akinrun of Ikirun land not the new built one" he fully explained.

In Conclusion, King Yunusa Olalekan Akadir has been Vested as the Next king of Ikirun by the Authority of Osun state Governor, but the People of Ikirun land keep Proclaiming he can't be.

Kingship should not lead to killings, this is a call to Osun State Government and the Peace makers to get rid of any act that can lead to blood shed with immediate effect.
