Senator Saliu Mustapha Pledges Support for Darul-Uloom as Leaders Reflect on Trust and Education

Daarul-Uluum Isalekoto, Ilorin Alumni Association hosted a book launch and awards ceremony honoring individuals for their contributions to the growth of Darul-Uloom, Isalekoto, Ilorin. This event held at the Kwara State Stadium Complex in Ilorin, the event marks the 60th-anniversary celebration of Darul-Uloom, founded in 1963 under the guidance of Shaykh Adam Abdullahi Al-Ilory.

The awardees included retired Grand Kadi Justice Salihu Olohuntoyin Muhammad, Engineer ‘Lanre Sagaya (Zana of Ilorin), Professor Badmas ‘Lanre Yusuf (former Dean, Postgraduate School, University of Ilorin), and Shaykh Muhammed Ghali Alaaya, among others.

The book launched was named "Daarul Uluum in The Permanent Record Of History" was launched by personalities with huge amount of money showcasing how evitable the book is and to acknowledge the significant workdone of the Alumni Association.

Justice Ahmad Olarewaju Belgore, National President of Darul-Uloom Alumni, highlighted the school's remarkable growth and the need for funding to establish a permanent site, and significant projects for the college. He praised Shaykh Adam Abdullahi Al-Ilory's visionary efforts.

Engineer ‘Lanre Sagaya, Fromer grand khadi who chaired the event, commended the founding fathers for their enduring vision and promised free engineering services for the school impact to the society in upbringing great scholars of great mindset.

Grand Mukadam Shaykh Suleiman Dan-Borno stressed the importance of trust, as exemplified by Shaykh Adam Abdullahi Al-Ilory. He urged society to uphold trust and made it known to all, how impactful is Sheikh Adam Abdullah Al-iloory in Ilorin specifically and nation at large. "If Almighty Allah has not have given us Sheikh Adam, Knowledge will not have be as it is today, the entire world has benefits from his numerous scriptures, his legedary remark will be in existence till eternity because of his integrity mindset" He addressed

Senator Saliu Mustapha praised Shaykh Al-Ilory's impact to Arabic and Islamic knowledge and offered his support with the sum of 10 million naira. He alsocalled for efforts to assists youth for the future they desired.

Prominent figures and personalities were present at the event, among them are: Professor Is’haq Olanrewaju Oloyede (JAMB Registrar), Professor Wahab Olasupo Egbewole (Vice-Chancellor, University of Ilorin), and Mallam Ibrahim Zubair Danmaigoro (Kwara Governor's Senior Special Assistant on Religion Matters), Prof. Abdul Wahab Olasupo Egbewole (VC University Of Ilorin), Sheikh Kolawole Jummah (Rohiisu n niqobatul markaziyyin), Professors, Doctors, Engineers, Justices and many more. The event celebrated the rich legacy of Darul-Uloom and emphasized the importance of trust and support for education and youth development.
