Who is "Sanūsi"?

BIOGRAPHY:

He is Muhammad son of Aminu, son of Muhammad Sanusi Lamido, he is from a prominent traditional, religious family in Northern Nigeria, he was born on 31st June 1961 in the ancient royal tribe"Sanusi Lamido", his Family was a kingship empire with lot of Honor and Respect. He grew up in the palace of his great Uncle "Ado Bayero" where he learnt his Elementary studies who reign for Five decades. His father "Aminu Sanusi" was a prince and the eleventh emir of Kano from 1953-1963. His mother is Hafsoh Aminu, and among his children are: Ashraf Sanusi, Sahida Sanusi and Fulani Sidiqa Sanusi.

He's an Erudite and international Scholar, an Orator who fear not of Saying the truth in any circumstances, an educationist and God-fearing, he is for total accreditation to have every good attributes. He is a king and the Grandson of a King , he attended St. Annes Primary school (a Catholic boarding school in Kaduna before proceeding to Kings college from 1973-1977. He received bachelor's degree in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University. Then he undergo his National youth service as a teacher in a girls boarding school Yola. He then returned to the University where he received his master's degree in Economics at the same faculty in 1983 for complete two years.

However Sanusi further to "Khartoum" where he studied Islamic studies at "International University of Africa". He became fluent in Arabic and also studied the Qur'an law(fiqh) and philosophy (falsafa).

ACHIEVEMENT:

In his lifespan, he has a Credible legendary remark as a scholar and a populist until history could give him the whole pages of a book from every Scholars, honorables, Erudite among which are:

∆ In 1985, Sanusi began his banking career when he was hired as a merchant banker and later promoted and vested as the head of financial services and manager of the office in Kano from 1985-1991. And he later left the bank when he travelled to Khartoum in Sudan to study for Seven years leave.

∆ In 1997, he returned to Nigeria and joined the United Bank for Africa, he rose through the ranks to the position of general manager. 

∆ Sanusi became a board member and executive director in 2005 at First Bank of Nigeria (Nigeria's oldest bank, and one of Africa's largest financial institutions). 

∆ Sanusi was nominated as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria  on 1/6/2009 by President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, his appointment was confirmed by the Nigerian Senate on 3 June 2009. With his credible remarks and records also a faithful and Islamic citizen of the Nation, his regime took a positive hit at the economy and banking system by going against financial instability and monetary embezzlement. Sanusi is widely recognized for pacifying the clearly known corrupt banking industry and his contribution to a risk management culture in Nigeria banking. The Banker Magazine recognized him as the 2010 Central Bank of the Year.

∆ In February 2014,after a series of public investigations and raising the alarm on the NNPC scandal, He was suspended as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria by President Goodluck Jonathan.

∆ He was nominated as the 14th Emir of Kano until he was dethroned by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje on 9/3/2020. After then he doesn't stop or relent from his good deeds in preaching against evil act from the politicians and individuals not for any Sensationalism.

∆ He is a sufist (Tijāniyyah) right from his background, with this he was appointed as the Leader(Khalipha) of the Tijāniyyah order in Nigeria Currently.

REVIEW:

Today, 31st of July marks the birthday of Muhammad Sanusi Lamido 2(61 year-old), which could be a precious moment/day to circulate and let people know his welfare, remarks and Credible records for the World to know more about him and imbibe his attestation.

His lifespan has given a great remark and prolific advantages with lessons and meritorious achievement which could serve as a role model for the Boys and Girls, Students and Teachers, Parents and Children, Leaders and Followers, Christian and Muslim from which he has encompass:

(1) Western and Islamic Erudite: it's a great lesson and Idea from Sanusi's lifespan to every student of Islamic studies that having single moral and ethics is not enough"let us indulge in other western knowledge after we've learnt the Islamic morals, ethics, tradition and knowledge" whoever could attain both knowledge, verily he has a sound positivism.

(2) Pious and Justice: both attribute are found in his well-being which serves as a vital lesson for parents in nuturing their Children with justice and optimism, also to the leaders and preachers to imbibe the act of Justice and strong believe in their evangelism in accordance with the ordained rules of Almighty God... A well believer of God should fear not in saying the truth ..."Fear not hence, indeed God is with those who believe in him".

(3) Courtesy/diplomacy, High determination and exact knowledge: Sanusi is someone who doesn't rely on the little he knows, he strives with Passion and decency to achieve knowledge. This is a great lesson to all students to aim high and eternize their determination in seeking more knowledge and pray onto God for multiple.
