Mufty Of Ilorin Urges Scholars To Improve In Teaching

The Grand mufty of Ilorin_Sheikh Sulaiman Faruq Onikijipa has urged Scholars to stead firm in Teaching. Thus, Teaching can make a Scholar to exist after his death.

Sulyman Faruq said such gesture would go a long way to reduce illitracy, improve the exposure of the students and promote the society. He added that teaching should go in parallelism with Writing by keeping records of letters.
He made this known at the book Launching program held at Emir of Ilorin's palace today, organized by the book launch Committee under the Chairmanship of Prof. Mashood Mahmood Jimba.
The book Launched was "Thirty Nights on History, Culture and Personalities in Ilorin" written by Talhat Abdullahi Al Al-Azhary and "Anthology of Poem" by Adam Abdullah at the Emir's Palace. Both writers are within the range of 20 to 25 years of Age.
The Grand mufty of Ilorin further added in his address that both authors are youths with high motive of initiative, "seeing them at their youth stage with such achievement vividly tells us that there's a bright future for them. Ilorin has been at the top since yesterday, today and will continue to be a role model" he said
However, he advised them to utilize their knowledge efficiently and make it a useful machinery which can affect people positively not negatively. This is just an encouragement for the youth in ilorin Emirate at Large. He added.
He also described Prof. Jimba as pride of the emirate, with his good impact to the life of the youths. Indeed, his humility and service is phenomenal.
He urged him and his co-exemplaries not to depart from their path of humility and love for religion, knowledge, humanity and development.
At the event, the Book Reviewer, Dr. Muslihuddeen Almurtadoh Koro and Shaykh Shuaib Jiyali commended the effort of the Authors and make an excellent academic review.
In a media interview with the authors, Adam Abdullah gave his word of appreciation "I heartily gives thanks to Almighty Allah and my backbones that made this program a great history, among them are my amiable guardian, Prof. Jimba, Alh Muritoba and others. I'm very grateful" and ditto to Tolha Abdullah, consecutively.

Earlier, the Chief Imām of surulere gave the opening prayer. Among those in attendance at the event are the Grand Ajanasi of ilorin, Balogun Fulani, Balogun beere, and other Baloguns' Daudus', amiable Personalities, distinguished Representatives of Turaki of Ilorin,Alh. Yakub Gobir, Eng. Bolakale kawu, Alhaja Muinat Bola shagaya and others, respectively.
