Alh. Murtala Kuranga (Toba), a Development agency, with a portfolio of exposure across the States (National and International), a Diplomatic Ilorite with Service and humanity to the descendant of Sheikh Alimi: Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Zulu Gambari CFR.

A figurative Icon born on October 4,1980 to the family of Alhaji AbdulRaheem Akanbi Kuranga and Alhaja Adisatu Amoke. His family background stands out in upbringing their Children with morals and Dignities.
Alh. Muratala attended Egbejila and Okesuna Primary school for his first school leaving certificate, Historically. Between 1994- 2001 he attended both Baboko Community secondary school, Ilorin and Ansarul Islam secondary school, Sanmora for his Junior & Senior school Certificate. He Studied Statistics and Public Administration at Kwara state polytechnic as an "Ordinary Diploma" holder in Statistics 2004, Advance Diploma holder in Statistics 2009 and Post-graduate Diploma in Public Administration 2011.

His Education standard is highly recognized by his Motive of learning. Furthermore,  he obtained his Master's degree in Public Administration from the National open University (NOUN), Ilorin campus 2020.

In 2022, he attained his Master of philosophy (Mphil) in
Peace and Security Studies, Al- Hikmah University, Ilorin. And an Undergoing PhD in Peace and Security Studies at Al Hikmah University.

Alhaji Murtala consistently kept faith with progressive ideology, he is one of the most outstanding and successful Ilorites.

Alhaji Muritala was the grandson of the late Alhaji Ajao kuranga who was once a Trumpet blower at the Emir's Palace under the administration of Alhaji Sulu-Gambari (9th Emir of Ilorin). After the demise of Alhaji Kuranga (1990), Alh Muritala was chosen to replace him at the age of Eleven (11) due to his Creativity to blown the trumpet excellently. Since then, he extremely performed the task for the 9th, 10th, and 11th Emirs until 2007.

Indeed, Alhaji Muritala is not a dependant,who can not afford a good living without depending on people.
Alhaji Murtala,with all his love for knowledge, he also engage himself in some side business and job. Due to this,he has worked as petrol attendant at Texaco Filling Station, Post-office, Ilorin. After he was rarely Opportuned and chosen by Emir of Ilorin as his Personal Assistant in 2007.

However, working as the P.A. has given him rare opportunities and privilege to be in Company with the 11th Emir of Ilorin: Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Zulu Gambari CFR Nationally and Internationally. From decades, he has no Negative Attribute in serving the Emir, he's a passionate humanitarian who associate with Integrity and Sincerity. Being the Personal Assistant to the Emir doesn't hinder him from having positive impact in the life of People, irrespective of their Race, Gender and Tittle. Due to his Natural being, he believes not until one become the President of Nigeria or have more than expected before one could render Assistance for others. Indeed he is a Philanthropist.

In recognition of his humanitarian service and love he shows to the royal family,The Emir of ilorin has been the solid block behind his education till date and the Emir has never for once regret on Alhajj Murtala's appointment as his personal assistance.

He's a well of very good curtsey,he loves football,and has travelled to many countries.Being a Yoruba man doesn't hinder him to understand  list of languages including; English and Hausa,and can communicate in both perfectly.
