NO SHIFTING OF DEADLINE_EMEFIELE
Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Godwin Emefiele has declared publicly that there will be no shifting of deadline for the Old 1,000, 500 and 200 naira notes.

He made it known that, it is legal and authorized by the Constitution as announced on October 26 as a legal tender until January 31st, Authoritatively.

"The question that has been raised is that are we going to shift the deadline, the answer remains No!!! (Capital No) we'll not shift any deadline..." He said

President Muhammadu buhari also made it clear that there is no going back, the duration is enough from October to January 31st , despite the complain "No going back" he assured.
