Encomium To A Legend - Late Admiral Mohammed Lawal
Today, November 15, 2022 marks 16 years after the death of the former Governor of Kwara State (1999- 2003), Admiral Mohammed Alabi Lawal. 

The Commisioner for Enterprise Hajia Arinola lawal posed on her Facebook timeline in remembrance of her late father "It gladdens my heart that 16 years after your demise and almost 20 years after your tenure as the Executive Governor of our dear Kwara State, your legacies remain reference point. In your absence, our people, who you salvaged from the yolk of poverty through a number of empowerment programmes and policies, which included but not limited to unprecedented road projects and a robust water project for Ilorin municipality; are truly appreciating your virtues.
Great Lawal, his exceptional legacy and public spirited nature  will remain evergreen on sacred land.

May his soul rest in perfect peace and shall continue to abode in Aljana Firdaus.
